THE HOUSE OF ZAN — Zan

Here, I outline what’s currently being developed, revised, expanded, or prepared for publication, including substantial undertakings that have yet to make their public debut.

While Exposed: What’s New documents what’s been accomplished, revised, or developed so far, Incoming: What’s Next focuses on what’s still being planned or prepared.

Some pieces arrive fast and without warning. Others have to sit until they’re ready.

There is no due date on any of this, other than the artificial ones I place on myself.

I return to these projects nearly every day, though not always in the order I originally intended.

The Frontend

These are the creations, collections, experiments, and structural developments currently at the forefront of my mind, presented in roughly the order they’re receiving my attention.

Some are drafted. Some are being revised. Some are finished and waiting for the right place.

The list isn’t complete, and its order isn’t a publication schedule. Priorities change, new ideas emerge, and existing creations sometimes require more attention than anticipated.

The House of Zan — Site-Wide Redevelopment

The immediate priority is continuing the broader redevelopment of The House, including its organization, navigation, introductory material, and the integration of existing and newly developed creations.

The goal is to establish a clearer, more accessible structure in which each collection can develop its own identity while remaining connected to the larger artistic universe. This includes continued refinements to The Opus, The Expanse, the House Map, and the different ways readers can explore what’s available.

Development continues across the other creations and undertakings outlined below, even as the broader redevelopment takes precedence.

Cycle II: Coming of Age — Continuation & Redevelopment

Further entries and revisions for Cycle II: Coming of Age, continuing its exploration of memory, identity, personal formation, relationships, desire, consequences, and the experiences that shape an individual life.

Development also continues across its accompanying forms, existing material, and larger editorial structure, including the integration of the Authorship Intermissions and the ongoing refinement of how the individual creations connect within the Cycle.

The Mythos: Trial by Chambers — Redevelopment

A 36-chamber conceptual sequence exploring art, control, memory, humor, language, kink, consent, authority, devotion, standards, consequences, and the many influences and contradictions that contribute to a life.

The existing Mythos material is being reconsidered and reorganized into a stronger, clearer chambered structure, with greater attention to how individual subjects connect and collectively develop a portrait of a person from the inside.

The intention is to establish something that can stand alongside The Cycles while approaching personal experience, identity, and human complexity through a distinctly different artistic form.

Impressions — New Entries

Additional independent writing responding to current events, culture, entertainment, social developments, and other subjects that invite observation or closer examination.

Impressions provides room to address the world as it changes without requiring every subject to become part of a larger collection or ongoing sequence.

The Weight — New Entries & Continued Development

Further entries exploring the desire to create something meaningful, the motivations behind that pursuit, and what it demands of the person undertaking it.

The Weight continues to develop around ambition, artistic responsibility, persistence, uncertainty, personal investment, and the complicated process of turning ideas into something that exists beyond intention.

The Echoes — Ongoing

Additional independent pieces and shorter series exploring human experience through personal observations, relationships, memory, culture, humor, and other subjects that benefit from a more concentrated approach.

The Echoes continues to develop as a collection in its own right, allowing individual creations to stand independently without requiring readers to follow the longer sequences or understand the broader structure of The House.

Field Studies Division — New Entries & Expansions

Additional structured examinations of particular subjects, bringing together research, observation, personal perspective, and practical understanding.

The intention is to develop accessible, more focused explorations of subjects that benefit from greater examination, whether concerning human behavior, relationships, culture, social questions, or other areas of interest.

Devotional Architecture — Supplemental Support (30+ Planned Pages)

An extensive collection of supporting material intended to further explain the language, structure, ethics, and practical applications of Devotional Architecture and the Archetype Dynamic.

These additions will explore the framework as a legitimate, purposeful lifestyle choice that can be adapted beyond kink, emphasizing personal structure, responsibility, dependability, intentional relationships, and the ways individuals establish meaningful standards for themselves and others.

The intention is to provide useful entry points for readers approaching the framework with a genuine interest in understanding its concepts and considering their application in everyday life.

Visual. Aural. Sensual. Theatrics. — Audio / Voice Experiments

Proof-of-concept recordings, spoken pieces, and other experiments intended to let the voices behind the writing exist beyond their written presentation.

These experiments aren’t meant to replace the writing. They’re meant to explore another layer of it: sound, timing, humor, pressure, warmth, performance, and the different possibilities that emerge when a creation is experienced through another medium.

Additional forms of presentation may be explored as the larger undertaking develops.

The Backend

These are larger structures that have progressed beyond initial ideas into substantial planning, with outlines, themes, sequences, drafts, companion tracks, and supporting material developed to varying degrees.

They aren’t vague ideas or things I’m pretending exist because they sound good on a page. They’re significant undertakings with considerable thought already invested in them, even if they’re not ready to appear in their Mastered Ultra Instinct form quite yet.

Cycle III: Coming to Light — The Hidden World

Cycle III is planned as one of the most personal and complex Cycles within the current structure, expanding beyond individual identity and personal formation into the larger world that influences, challenges, and helps define a life.

Its developing subjects include education, employment, biological family, chosen family, friendships, relationships, fandom as refuge, identity as conflict, survival, communities, faith, social expectations, institutions, shelters, and the many environments in which people attempt to establish a place for themselves.

Where Cycle II is concerned with the formation of the individual and the experiences that contribute to that identity, Cycle III expands the perspective toward the people, systems, and circumstances operating around it.

As with the earlier Cycles, its individual creations and recurring forms will be constructed to reflect their particular subjects. It isn’t intended to reproduce the same approach simply because that approach has already been established.

This is also where the kink-minded person meets the world at large. No matter how strongly we identify with particular interests, relationships, or personal values, we still exist within a much broader human experience, with responsibilities and relationships that extend beyond those immediate identities.

If the relationship and kink subject matter was too much in the previous Cycles, this is the one where I sell out to please the masses. I mean, expand the scope of what this all really means when it comes to a lived person.

Cycle IV: Coming to Terms — The Hidden Ghost

Cycle IV is being developed as the planned conclusion of The Cycles, bringing together larger questions of consequence, memory, loss, repair, age, responsibility, desire, endurance, and meaning.

Its developing subjects include building, destroying, rebuilding, maintaining relationships, changes in personal identity and lifestyle, the persistence of memory, and how desires, beliefs, responsibilities, and relationships evolve over the course of a life.

It will also explore mental health, fear, pain, suffering, friendship, family, imperfections, being right, being wrong, accepting change, and the responsibility people carry toward both those they know and those whose lives they influence without realizing it.

Where Cycle III examines the greater world surrounding the individual, Cycle IV considers what remains after enough life has been experienced to confront the consequences of the choices made within it.

The intention isn’t simply to look backward. It’s also to examine what can still be created, repaired, understood, or passed forward, even when circumstances, relationships, and the people involved have changed.

Cycle IV is a reckoning, carrying the accumulated experiences of the earlier Cycles without being defined solely by them.

Its final thematic direction, individual creations, and overall presentation remain in development.

At this point, I expect to sign a contract for the film rights to my life. I mean, expand the scope of what this all really means when it comes to being a lived person inside the greater world long enough to feel it.

Keep On Truckin’

Not everything being considered or developed is listed here, and the absence of a particular undertaking doesn’t necessarily mean it has been abandoned.

You can explore what’s already available without waiting for anything on this list to be completed.

As new creations, substantial revisions, and other significant developments are completed or published, they’ll be documented in Exposed: What’s New.
