Here, we take a look at the pieces, structures, experiments, and larger works moving through The House of Zan. This page will be updated as new information becomes available.
The House of Zan is being built in public, piece by piece, room by room, confession by confession, for better or worse.
This page exists for the work that has not arrived yet, but is already moving. New Cycle Entries. Shorter pieces. Media experiments. Site additions. Frameworks. And so on.
Some pieces arrive fast and without warning. Some have to sit until they’re ready.
There is no due date on any of this, other than the artificial ones I place on myself.
I’m working on these near daily, because there is always something happening in the House.
Upcoming: The Front
These are the pieces, pages, and structures closest to being published.
Some of it is drafted. Some is being revised. Some is finished and waiting for the right place.
The list is not complete. The order is not a timetable.
It is just where my head is on what should come sooner rather than later.
Devotional Architecture – Supplemental Support (30+ Pages)
Public-facing pages that help explain the language, structure, ethics, and use of Devotional Architecture and the Architect Dynamic without reducing the doctrine into something too dry to matter or too abstract to use in practice. These are meant as real-life entry points for readers approaching the framework with real intention to understand how it applies.
Echoes Of The Cycles – Shorter Pieces / Series (10+ Pages)
Smaller, broader pieces meant to give new readers a way into my work without needing to begin with the longest or heaviest work first. These may function as pressure points, quick confessions, practical explanations, or smaller flashes of the larger world being built here.
Cycle I / II Entries – Intermission Pieces (7 Pages + 1 Revision)
Intermission pieces placed inside Cycle I and Cycle II. These are meant to give the larger Cycles moments of release, humor, sideways confession, connective tissue, or strange little windows into the work without requiring every piece to carry the full density of the main Entries. This started as a meta, one-off piece in Cycle II, but the plan is now to include 4 Intermission pieces in each Cycle, with each set focused on its respective Cycle. For instance, Cycle II will continue expanding the ideas from the first piece: Man vs. Machine, Writer vs. Editor, and the proof of self in the modern age.
Introduction Of Spicy Content (1 Page + “My Dignity”)
A more direct introduction of the actual body into the House. The writing has always carried the mind, the voice, the desire, and the lived experience. This content brings the body into that same structure, not as a separate stunt, but as another form of expression, witness, risk, art, and self-possession.
Cycle II Entries – Continuation (A Lot)
More work from Cycle II: Coming Of Age, continuing the record of memory, identity, formation, desire, consequence, and the life that shaped the voice behind the House.
The Mythos: Trial By Chambers (30+ Pages + 6 Revisions)
A 36-part conceptual sequence on art, control, memory, humor, language, kink, consent, authority, devotion, standards, consequence, and the operating system behind the person and the work. This will be a rescope of the current Mythos pages, turning them into a stronger, clearer chambered structure that can stand beside the Cycles while doing a different kind of work.
Audio / Voice Experiments
Proof-of-concept recordings and spoken pieces meant to let the voice behind the writing exist outside the page. These experiments are not meant to replace the writing. They are meant to reveal another layer of it: the sound, timing, humor, pressure, warmth, and living presence behind the words.
Upcoming: The Back
Some work stands near the front line because it is closer to being seen. Some work waits on the back line because it has more weight to carry. These are the larger structures behind the immediate work, the pieces that have been planned deeply enough to know what they are, but are not finished enough to be seen in their Mastered Ultra Instinct form quite yet.
These are load-bearing parts of the larger project. They are not vague ideas, loose maybes, or pieces I’m pretending exist because they sound good on a page. They are important, expected to be published, and much work has already been done on them, including scoping, outlines, structures, themes, sequencing, companion tracks, and a lot more.
They are alive in concept. The body needs to catch up.
Cycle III: Coming To Light is the most personal and complex Cycle planned inside the current structure. This is where the pieces expand beyond identity alone and into the systems, relationships, pressures, places, and “hidden worlds” that surround the individual life inside it.
Cycle III will move through education, jobs, biological family, chosen family, friendships, relationships, fandom as refuge, identity as conflict, survival as a test, refinement under pressure, communities, faith, society structures, shelters, and the bridge toward real responsibility to others we bring into our world.
Just like Cycle I and Cycle II, Cycle III will be constructed differently. It will be built in a way that matches its own themes and pressures. It will live inside the foundations of what has been established in Cycle II, through individualism, self-awareness, and kink, but will expand beyond those concepts into what it means to hold onto them while living in the greater world.
This is where the kink-minded person meets the world at large. No matter how much we are defined by what we are attached to at our core, we are still living inside a shared experience. If the relationship and kink subject matter was too much in the previous Cycles, this is the one where I sell out to please the masses. I mean, expand the scope of what this all really means when it comes to a lived person.
Cycle IV: Coming To Terms is the planned conclusion of The Cycles. This is where consequence, memory, loss, repair, age, responsibility, desire, endurance, and meaning are meant to arrive. If Cycle III is about the hidden world coming into view, Cycle IV is about what remains after enough life has been survived to ask harder questions about what any of it meant.
Cycle IV will move through building, destroying, retaining memory, rebuilding, kink and lifestyle changing their place in a life, responsibility to others, changing relationships, how love changes over time, how strangers remember people, and hunger that never fully subsides.
It will also move through age, mental health, fear, pain, suffering, friendship, family, memory, changing the world, accepting imperfection, carrying your life, holding responsibility toward people you know and people you do not, endurance, myth, being wrong, being right, being remembered, and the great mystery of defining a life rather than only surviving one.
Cycle IV is a reckoning. It is not planned as a simple ending. It carries the weight of the earlier Cycles, but it is not defined solely by them. It is also about what can still be built after them, what survives the person, what gets passed forward, and what burns into another life.
If the relationship and kink subject matter was too much in the previous Cycles, this is the one where I expect to sign a contract for the film rights to my life. I mean, expand the scope of what this all really means when it comes to being a lived person inside the greater world long enough to feel it.
Keep On Truckin’
As of this writing, I am 6 months into the concept of The House of Zan, 25+ years into writing and building, and almost 40 years into this “lived experience” known as existence.
This page is here so returning readers can see what is happening.
It is also here so new readers know this is not a relic lost to time.
It is ALIVE.
What I am building here is meant to matter now and later.
I’m doing this alone, without financial support, and with nothing more than an “if I build this, I’ll come” kind of faith.
So, until the next update, I hope you come again.
