THE HOUSE OF ZAN — Zan
“You make choices and you live with them.”
— Groundhog Day
A choice can feel complete while it remains private.
The world has not answered yet.
A decision may rearrange another person’s life.
They still get a say.
Their response belongs to them.
Freedom made the act possible.
It did not promise control over what followed.
What feels like punishment may be somebody else using the same freedom.
Honesty can meet rejection.
Leaving changes what remains.
A yes may create responsibility that never existed while it was a maybe.
The action can be finished before the consequences begin.
The right to choose includes the risk that somebody else decides what happens next.
