THE HOUSE OF ZAN — Zan
VOICE ADVISORY: The speaking voice is professional braggadocio presenting experience as value, opportunity, and selective access. Contains themes of self-promotion, adult entertainment, sex work, business, ambition, persuasion, power, and attraction.
You want credentials?
Fine.
Here’s the fucking résumé.
This is just a humble taste of the business clients I’ve extensively worked with in another professional life.
Home improvement and construction firms, charity and nonprofit organizations, pest control and home service specialists, political campaigns and public-service offices, real estate groups, prepaid and debit card programs, wearable tech and payment services, medical specialists (including gut health, chronic conditions, and men’s health), licensed electricians and home automation experts, optometry practices, film producers and post-production studios, hypnotherapists, nutrition doctors and supplement brands, pool and spa companies, hospitality and lodging businesses, criminal defense and other law practices, professional sales and marketing teams, clinical trial and research organizations, life and mindset coaches, sports and recreation programs, parent–community groups, education and tutoring services, custom invitation and print shops, coffee merchants, congregational and faith-based communities, consumer “as seen on TV” products, published authors, app and software creators, watercraft and motorsport enthusiasts, gift basket and gift card merchants, graphic design studios, cosmetology professionals, riding and horsemanship services, brace and support-wear providers, software developers, and many, many, many law firms.
The arena changed.
The skill set didn’t.
Helping people be seen, chosen, and remembered.
So what?
What good is any of that to someone else?
While not anywhere near complete, you know what sticks out to me as missing from this list?
Online models and adult performers.
Most self-proclaimed “managers” in that world are a guy with a premade brand kit, a folder full of canned messages, and a dream of taking 50% to type “hi bb” for you.
That’s glorified catfishing in your DMs.
I haven’t just dealt with people trying to sell access to themselves.
I’ve dealt with those who have the ambition and drive to build something they can own and scale well beyond the “prime” of their bodies.
I believe everyone deserves the knowledge to explore and discover something about themselves, be it a trade or a hobby.
In fact, I believe in it so much that I’ve offered my services and expertise pro bono so many, many, many times for so many, many, many people in adult entertainment that it becomes hard to consider it “work” for myself.
No little meter running every time I tell someone what they are doing wrong.
Just the benefit of knowing what the hell I’m doing.
I am quite professional.
More so than a lot of people you would come across doing this.
That’s why when I see those greedy, egotistical, short-sighted, unaware-of-my-capabilities types, I shudder to think which pitfalls they’ll encounter on the way to “success” or absolute failure.
Their loss, I suppose.
Mostly theirs.
Real management isn’t “posting more” or buying fake engagement.
Positioning.
Pricing.
Retention.
Funnels.
Audience psychology.
Knowing when to stop doing things that drain you for no return.
Knowing how to keep someone out of the red.
Treating your body and your brand like assets.
Knowing when someone is worth more than they are asking.
Knowing how to make everyone else notice.
Although…
I haven’t done much of that kind of work lately.
Which, frankly, has been wonderful for my free time.
Less wonderful for the people still fumbling around in the dark trying to figure out an infallible way to sell their body/personality to an audience with unlimited options at their fingertips and, usually, a dick in the other hand.
Doesn’t mean I forgot how.
If anything, watching them makes the solutions seem even more obvious.
Sad.
So, if you catch my fancy and I tell you I’m a queen-maker, understand this:
I don’t say it to impress you.
I say it because I’ve done it, more than once, in more than one world.
If I make you an offer,
it’s because I already see where you could go.
You might not see it yet.
That’s fine.
I do.
If you’re serious about working with me in that capacity, don’t just tell me you’re “motivated.”
Show me what you’re already doing.
What you’ve tried.
Where you’re stuck.
Let me see what you have to work with.
Then we can see what I can do with it.
By now, I would have thought all of this would be visible to the naked eye.
