Sometimes… a concept can become an urge.

That urge can lead into a reality.

That reality can become a nightmare.

Oh sh*t, how can we prevent that from happening?

Simple: Role Analysis and Measured Expectations.

Unlike in forced-proximity situations, when connecting with someone in this digital era, the options are limitless. This allows for new, mutually beneficial opportunities and/or adventures with individuals we would otherwise never encounter in our own local cesspools.

So, Role Analysis, for this copy, will be defined as determining what role you need in your life. Do you need a friend? A partner? A mentor? A stalker? If you are into cannibalism, maybe you just want a hamburger. Understanding the role you need filled is critical to being able to get what you want out of this lifestyle.

For example, if you are a younger individual with no background in the lifestyle, and you need a more personal one-on-one, you may want to be seeking a mentor instead of a lifelong sadist.

Look, I’m just saying… buttholes don’t always tighten back up over time.

The key to the best outcome is understanding what you want and which role you need filled, not always what hole you want to have filled the fastest. Sorry, role.

So you know which role you want filled to help you on your way to your ultimate goal, what’s next?

Oh, Measured Expectations. That’s right.

When you are connecting with someone that seems to fit your role type, it’s helpful to have a clear, realistic perspective of whether this person can actually meet your expectations of them and vice versa.

Since everybody (yes, everybody) lies or hides something, this can be hard to determine at face value and usually takes a long time.

Generally, being upfront and clear with your potential role-mate about what you are wanting and what you don’t want can help keep expectations in line.

There are subtle ways to do it, matter-of-fact ways to do it, but to avoid scaring off everyone, I would recommend not turning it into a full-blown interrogation, unless that’s your thing, of course.

Now that that’s out of the way, time to find the perfect role-mate for myself. How many of you out there are feminine, fun-time slaves, open to closed, one-sided poly relationships?
