THE HOUSE OF ZAN — Zan

“A lifetime of security, for one night.”
— Indecent Proposal

A question can apply pressure without sounding like an order.
Its wording makes yes easier to choose.
No command is needed.
Someone describes the kind of person who would agree.
Open-minded.
Independent.
In control.
The listener wants to remain that person.
Agreement begins to protect an identity.
Refusal starts sounding like fear, weakness, or contradiction.
Pressure becomes harder to notice while the decision still feels voluntary.
The desire may be genuine.
That does not remove the influence.
Whoever shaped the question can disappear from the result.
Somebody else might defend the conclusion as their own.
The easiest decision to control may be the one someone needs as proof they cannot be controlled.
